Bronze Arts Award

Course description:

Bronze Arts Award is ideal for young people who are keen to dive into an art form of their choice in more depth and begin a leadership journey of their own.  They are required to undertake active research and participate in a range of arts activities and review arts events they attend.  As well as researching more about an artist or craftsperson they will be required to pass on their arts skills to others.

This award will suit students who are:

  • aged 12-15

  • already engaged in arts activities

  • considering home education

  • looking to gain an alternative qualification with a practical, arts based skill set and detailed portfolio of evidence.

Please note that young people do not have to complete the Discover and Explore levels prior to starting Bronze level.  There is however, a natural progression through the levels as skills and experiential learning grows and students develop confidence in designing their own unique pathway in the arts.
